As a Parts Administrator, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for ordering parts and consumables as well as storing and issuing parts to the workshop. This is an ideal role for a candidate with previous experience of working as a stock controller or parts administrator. Responsibilities Duties will include but not be limited to: Control Workshop Stock - booking goods into the system, cross-referring vehicle parts, liaise with the stock team to order required parts, completing stock checks both physical stock holding and system balances. Administrative support - answer all email and telephone queries, complete weekly reports and all relevant paperwork, assist in the provision of quality administrative support to the workshop Maintain all systems ensuring that adequate and appropriate records are created and maintained Ensuring that work is carried out efficiently to ensure deadlines are met Other ad-hoc duties Skills and expertise Essential: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role (essential) Previous experience within the automotive sector (desirable) Computer literate with experience in using Excel (not essential) Strong communicative skills – speaking, reading and writing (essential) Excellent numerical and literacy skills You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers Excellent attention to detail Our policy is to employ the best-qualified people and provide equal opportunity for the advancement of employees including promotion and training and not to discriminate against any person because of gender, race, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, religion, belief or disability.
