Vehicle Technician – Charles Hurst Belfast (Cupra/Seat)

Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:15–5pm, Friday 8:30–4pm, Saturday 9–1pm on a rota basis (1 in 4)

Salary: OTE up to £42,600 (including £34,000 basic + £6,600 bonus potential)

We are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our fantastic workshop in Belfast Cupra/Seat. While working alongside other experienced technicians, you will play a vital role in carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting services, and completing repairs to the highest standards.

You will report to the accomplished Aftersales Manager, who will provide ongoing support to ensure you have the tools needed to succeed. Responsibilities

* Carry out vehicle health checks using the latest technology.
* Conduct vehicle service in accordance with manufacturers guidelines and customer requests.
* Carry out any additional repairs once authorised by the customer.
* Conduct warranty repairs as per the manufacturer’s guidelines and complete relevant write‑up.
* Take the customer’s vehicle out on a road test to ensure all faults are rectified.
* Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard.


Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following: NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, motor industry experience (brand or non‑brand), and a full and valid driving licence. You should be self‑motivated, able to support your team, ambitious, eager to learn, and able to work to and maintain the highest of standards for all vehicles that visit our workshop.
