Job Description
A client of mine is currently searching for a Freelance Remote Planner to work on the scheduling for a commissioning service operation vessel. You will be building the plan and then maintaining it up until delivery.
START: February 2026
LOCATION: Remote
Contract length – Initial 3 month contract Freelance
Hours: 40 hours a week
Planner– Remote– Shipbuilding
Key Responsibilities:
* Build plan for the construction of the vessel up until delivery.
* Liaise between different teams to ensure time frames are met.
* Monitor project progress and adjust schedules accordingly.
* Keep Project Delivery Manager updated on progress, and advise on appropriate action to ensure project delivered on time.
Specification:
* Experience with shipbuilding/shipyards
* Ability to work independently
* Strong organisational skills to build and maintain the schedule up until delivery
* Excellent leadership and communication skills to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
* English fluency
