Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal (12 Month Fixed Term Contract) – White Cross Vets, Sale, North West. Discipline: Small Animal. Flexible. Up to £30,000 per annum DOE.
Your New Role
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will support the veterinary team in a range of clinical tasks, including assisting with surgical procedures, promoting dental care, and providing consultations for health checks and general care. You will run nurse clinics offering services such as weight management, laser therapy, and more. The role provides a variety of surgical procedures to help you develop your skills across different aspects of veterinary care.
Our Practice
Sale is a purpose-built practice with four consult rooms, separate cat and dog wards, an isolation ward, and digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and brand-new laparoscopic equipment. We are a training practice and support development for those interested in clinical coaching. We are an ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic and have earned the IVC Evidensia Patient Safety Award. One nurse has a special interest in behaviour, with plans to develop this service clinic-wide.

The Sale team is hardworking and sociable. We hold regular funded team days out and monthly wellbeing afternoons focused on activities such as movie marathons, Mario Kart, yoga, and more. We are a clinically progressive practice that values team input, with monthly team meetings to ensure everyone’s voice is heard.
Flexible Working Options
We offer flexible rota patterns and hours to fit your lifestyle. Our standard full-time pattern is 37.5 hours per week. The practice is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 7:00 pm. We are temporarily closed on Saturdays and there is no out-of-hours requirement.
