Job description: Class 2 Driver (Skip Wagon)
Location: Sheffield
Hours: 7.30am - 4.30pm, Monday-Friday (plus regular overtime, inc Weekends)

Class 2 Skip Wagon Driver required to drive our well-maintained and modern skip wagon working within out of our Sheffield Operation.

The purpose of the Skip Wagon driver is to play a key role in our Operation department, collecting, delivering and transferring materials from our customer & supplier sites.
Key duties/responsibilities:
* Operating our Class 2 Skip Wagon
* Liaising with Production & Logistic Management, following daily collection schedules
* As the face of the Company, maintaining and building strong relationships with Customers & Suppliers at all times.
* Liaise closely between functions to ensure teamwork, consistency, coordination and best practice to eliminate losses from poor practices or communication and to expedite learning.
* Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
* Adhering to all Safe Operating Procedures and road regulations
* Ensure the working area is kept in a clean and tidy state at all times
* Perform such other duties as the Company may from time to time reasonably require
* Comply with all Company policies related to Code of Conduct, Environmental, Health and Safety and Community
* Foster and promote a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement within the organisation
* Attend any training courses required by the company
Qualification/Skills required:
* CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
* Proven experience in skip driving
* Proven track record of working within a team environment
* Proven ability to adhere to safety procedures whilst fulfilling daily duties
* Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable
* Organisational skills
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Strong communication skills, willing to ask for assistance when needed
