Senior Internal Communications & Engagement Manager
PART-TIME (3days a week) - 6 month contract
London, UK (with regular travel across sites)

The Role
We’re looking for a natural storyteller and culture-builder to join us as Internal Communications & Engagement Manager.
This standalone role is all about connecting people, driving engagement, and making sure our colleagues feel informed, inspired, and part of something bigger.
You’ll design and deliver comms strategy, bring values to life, and create meaningful experiences through newsletters, events, campaigns, and everything in between. From shaping the annual culture survey to championing wellbeing and DEI, you’ll be the voice that unites our teams.
Day to day responsibilities will include the development of our EVP, communication of strategic OD initiatives through to more tactical organisational communication updates and messages, as well as developing innovative culture and engagement plans through varied communication channels.
Senior Internal Communications & Engagement Manager Responsibilities
* Develop and implement internal communication strategies that align with company objectives and values.
* Create and manage a structured communications calendar, including initiatives such as annual culture survey, DEI, and wellbeing activities.
* Manage internal communication channels, including email newsletters, intranet, and digital signage, ensuring two-way communication.
* Support the delivery of internal events, such as conferences and People Development initiatives.
* Measure the effectiveness of communication programs and recommend improvements.
* Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
* Stay up to date with communication trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Senior Internal Communications & Engagement Manager Skills Required:
* Qualifications: A qualification in Internal Communications or significant experience in a similar role.
* Experience: Proven track record in formulating communication strategies, managing change communication, and delivering DEI and engagement programs.
* Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong relationship management, and outstanding project management abilities.
* Attributes: Proactive, motivated, and comfortable with ambiguity and change.
* Technical Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office and content management systems, with knowledge of various communication channels.
* Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently across the UK
