Sinclair Motor Group are seeking an exceptional Head of Business to lead our award winning Land Rover retailer in Ludlow.

Hours of work: 5 days a week, Monday to Friday

The Opportunity
This role offers full operational and commercial accountability for the retailer. Reporting to the Head of Franchise, you will lead all departments including New and Used Vehicle Sales, Aftersales and Finance, ensuring the continued growth, profitability and reputation of the business. Ludlow represents a premium rural market with a loyal and affluent client base. It is a relationship driven environment where long term retention, reputation and quality of experience are critical to sustained success.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for full profit and loss performance of the retailer
* Develop and execute robust business plans aligned to group and manufacturer objectives
* Drive performance across new vehicles, used vehicles, finance, accessories and aftersales
* Lead, coach and develop department managers and their teams to deliver high standards of client care and commercial performance.
* Ensure all regulatory, FCA and brand compliance standards are adhered to
* Monitor departmental performance through effective use of systems, reporting tools and financial trackers
* Protect and enhance the retailer's local reputation and customer experience performance
* Provide regular and accurate business reporting to the Head of Franchise and Group leadership
* Organise, direct and control all operational activities to achieve agreed plans and budgets
* Ensure optimum use of all material, financial and personal resources
* Promote and nurture a client care culture consistent with the expectations of Land Rover and Sinclair Motor Group
* The ability to lead from the front, inspire teams and build a high performance culture.
Qualifications
* Senior leadership experience within the Automotive sector, ideally at General Sales Manager or Head of Business level
* Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to interpret data and drive performance
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
* A proven track record of delivering growth and profitability
* A strategic mindset combined with hands on operational leadership
