Job Information Location: Kyloe House, Stannington, Morpeth, NE61 6DE Interview Date: 18th June 2026 ontact: Christopher.Chapman@northumberland.gov.uk Role of the Job Kyloe House is part of Northumberland County Council's network of residential homes for young people, providing care and support in a safe, nurturing environment. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining high-quality, homely surroundings across Kyloe House and, where required, other open residential homes within Northumberland. The role will primarily involve painting and decorating; however, we are looking for someone who can bring a multi-skilled approach to maintenance tasks. This will include minor repairs such as patching, basic tiling, joinery, and simple plumbing work to ensure our homes remain safe, welcoming, and well-maintained. You will be working in occupied residential care settings, often in the presence of young people and staff, so professionalism, respect, and sensitivity are essential. The ability to work flexibly across multiple homes while maintaining consistency in standards is key.
