Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire is searching for new members to join the Void and Decants Team.
We are looking for two passionate individuals who are customer-focused, team players, and eager to improve our local communities in Charnwood.
The Council is recruiting for 2 x Driver/Labourers. This will initially be a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension.
You will join our empty homes (Voids) team and help us quickly and efficiently turn around empty properties to be ready for new residents. Successful candidates will be trained to operate gutter cleaning equipment, carry out water management tasks, undertake basic cleaning and clearance duties, and assist the Team Leaders with daily tasks such as keysafe removals, dropping off and collecting keys, and topping up energy meters. You will also assist builders with general labouring duties from time to time.
