This newly created role is a fantastic opportunity for someone to help shape financial processes, support and support organisational growth. Offering up to £50,000.
Key responsibilities:
* Maintain comprehensive accounting records across multiple projects and accounts
* Prepare detailed internal and external budgets for new projects in collaboration with the bid writing team
* Conduct regular budget reviews and variance analysis
* Manage cash flow forecasting and reporting
* Identify and address potential budget over/underspends, developing corrective action plans
* Analyse financial risks and variances, recommending practical solutions
* Revise budgets considering multiple scenarios and external factors
* Process purchase and sales invoices, bank charges, and reconciliations
* Prepare and post journal entries
* Prepare and submit VAT returns
