Bank Medical Secretary

Job Summary
Due to increased activity we have a number of exciting roles available within bank. We are seeking candidates to provide secretarial support within various departments across the Trust.
Responsibilities
* Provide full secretarial and administrative support on a temporary basis to cover ongoing operational work within the assigned division or department.
* Work flexibly and sensitively with other disciplines, both on and off the QVH site.
* Provide and receive confidential and sensitive information written, aural or verbal, to be exchanged with patients, clients, relatives, staff or external parties.
* Support the review and management of the patient pathway to ensure all RTT targets are met, escalating concerns when they arise.
* Communicate sensitively and appropriately with patients suffering from serious illness.
Qualifications
* Numeracy and literacy qualifications to A-level or NVQ/QCF level 3 standard.
* RSA / OCR level III or equivalent skill.
Experience
* Significant experience in secretarial/administration in a medical setting.
* Knowledge of Access/Patient Administration systems.
Desirable Experience
* Digital dictation.
Skills
* Accurate audio typing of 60 words per minute or more.
* Excellent keyboard skills.
* Proficient use of computers and software packages, including databases and spreadsheets.
Location & Contract
Location: Non Clinical Bank, East Grinstead, RH19 3DZ, United Kingdom. Contract: Bank. Working pattern: Flexible working. Salary: £14.52 – £15.93 per hour.
