Role Details

Salary: £28,752 per annum - access to a company van.

Location: Office and site-based role with regular travel across the Group’s corporate offices, hubs and other corporate or commercial buildings.

Hours: 36 hours per week.

Contract Type: Permanent.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Facilities Officer to join our team. Day in the life of a Facilities Officer

In this role, you’ll support the smooth day‑to‑day operation of our corporate and commercial buildings, helping to ensure our facilities services are delivered efficiently, safely and to a consistent standard.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager – Corporate Buildings, you’ll:

  • Respond to building-related issues and queries
  • Support compliance and health & safety requirements
  • Carry out low-level repairs and basic maintenance tasks (within your level of competence)

In addition you’ll bring:

  • Experience in facilities management, building operations, caretaking or a similar role (essential)
  • Ability to carry out minor repairs and practical tasks safely within defined limits (essential)
  • A good understanding of workplace health & safety requirements (essential)
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities (essential)
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to work with colleagues and contractors (essential)
  • Experience maintaining records and using digital systems (essential)
  • Willingness to undertake training and continuous professional development (essential)
  • A full UK driving licence (essential)

What we can offer you

We can offer 25 days holiday (increasing with each year of service, up to a maximum of 31 days), bank holidays and three concessionary days over the Christmas period.
