This unpaid role focuses on supporting the selling, marketing, and promotion of WPGM’s media content and PR services to sponsors, advertisers, corporate clients, and music executives.
Job Responsibilities
1. Support the selling and marketing of WPGM’s media content and PR services to the right market.
2. Assist with seeking and securing sponsorship and advertising for new and potential media content across TV, radio, and digital channels.
3. Assist with seeking and securing advertising for our online media platforms, wepluggoodmusic.com and conversationsabouther.net.
4. Contribute to the development of new markets and clientele for our PR services and media content.
5. Assist with marketing efforts for our media content and PR services.
6. Create brand campaigns and promotional plans that significantly increase awareness of WPGM’s media and press/PR brand.
7. Support the identification and exploration of traditional and non‑traditional opportunities to drive and expand engagement in our media content and PR services.
8. Assist with marketing goal planning, contribute to strategy discussions, and help with calendar planning for the company.
9. Support marketing and communications activities for WPGM’s media and PR brand.
10. Assist with marketing campaigns to promote WPGM’s media content to sponsors/advertisers and WPGM’s PR services to corporate and music clients.
11. Contribute new ideas to support sponsorship/advertising and PR client acquisition.
12. Assist with marketing strategies and activities for our media and PR businesses.
13. Support research and outreach efforts to improve the presence of WPGM’s digital PR/Press within corporate brands in the UK and Africa.
14. Assist with exploring ways to improve marketability of existing media content to sponsors/advertisers and digital PR services to potential music/corporate clients, plus increasing profitability.
15. Help identify target markets and support the development of strategies to communicate with them.
16. Assist with liaising and networking efforts with sponsors, advertisers, corporate PR clients, and music PR clients.
17. Support WPGM’s brand image in a consistent and positive way across platforms.
18. Assist with efforts to position WPGM as a premium media brand and PR services provider.
19. Help research and build media partnerships across digital, TV, Radio, and Print to grow the WPGM brand image.
20. Assist with efforts to secure frequent, timely, and positive media coverage across all available media for the WPGM brand.
