Role Summary:
We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for one of our manufacturing plants. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repair of a variety of CNC machines, test equipment, parts washers, and others. Emphasis will be placed on electrical repair aptitude, as the Maintenance Mechanic will need to effectively troubleshoot items such as servo drives and electrical switches.
Your role:
1. Troubleshoot, operate, install, and program panel views and HMI devices
2. Troubleshoot and repair valve testing equipment
3. Diagnose and repair mechanical failures on ovens, blowers, and fans
4. Verifies alignment and tolerances of moving parts, tests operations of assemblies
5. Layout, measure, size, bend and install electrical conduit
6. Troubleshoot and program AC/CD drives and motors
7. Effectively troubleshoot relay logic circuits – requires experience with gas train circuitry
8. Effectively troubleshoot, size, and install transformers
9. Effectively lays out, measures, threads, and installs pipe
10. Troubleshoot and repair processed water system
11. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems
12. Troubleshoot and repair injection molding equipment
13. Use precision measuring tools, voltmeters, ammeters, and oscilloscopes
14. Apply knowledge and understanding of machining controls, troubleshooting, and programming skills
15. Troubleshoot ladder logic programs
16. Troubleshoot machine heating controls, i.e. controllers, heaters, molds and solid-state relays
17. Other duties as assigned
Your profile:
18. Technical training in electrical maintenance
19. Able to read blueprints and specifications
20. Hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry
21. Experience diagnosing/repairing mechanical industrial equipment, such as lathes, milling machines, CNC etc.; includes use of precision measuring tools and testing equipment
22. Good understanding of electrical systems including 3 phase
23. Basic knowledge of plumbing and pneumatic controls
24. Must be willing to learn new skills
25. Ability to determine material needs and specifications for projects
26. Creates detail bill of materials (BOMs) for project
27. Experience operating machines
28. Background with PLC
29. Experience with machine heating controls
30. HS Diploma / GED and 5-7 years relevant experience
