Our Stonemasons yard is located a short distance from the Abbey at Fountains, with picturesque views of the surrounding parkland. You could be working on a stone floor for the 17th century section of Nunnington Hall, or carrying out conservation works on the traditional stone Precinct or deer park walls of the Abbey Estate. The team can be commissioned to undertake any manner of traditional stone masonry work on our historic buildings and structures across the region. Typically, you will be working on anything from stonemasonry pieces in our banker shop, to being out on site pointing and fixing the stones that have been worked, or even paving and rebuilding historic structures within the region. An important part of our heritage work is to act as a mentor to our apprentices for the future of our craft.
