You will play a key role in shaping the company's Health & Safety strategy while working closely with senior management to ensure best practice, continuous improvement, and employee wellbeing remain at the heart of operations.

The Role
* Lead the development and continuous improvement of Health & Safety systems, policies, and procedures
* Promote a positive, proactive safety culture across all departments
* Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments, ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented
* Deliver training, coaching, and guidance to managers and employees
* Investigate incidents and implement preventative measures and lessons learned
* Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety legislation and industry best practice
* Work closely with senior leadership to drive engagement and continuous improvement initiatives
* Act as the key point of contact for regulatory bodies and external audits
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in a senior Health & Safety leadership role within engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environments
* Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and engage teams at all levels
* Someone who understands that effective Health & Safety is about culture, behaviours, and leadership - not just paperwork
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Health & Safety qualification
* A proactive, solutions‑focused approach with strong organisational skills
Salary & Benefits
Salary up to £55,000 depending on experience
* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Monday‑to‑Friday working hours 8:00am – 4:00pm, Friday finish at 3:30pm
