The role
Candour Talent are recruiting a Factory Supervisor to join their client’s well-established team in Blaenavon.
* Employment Type: Full Time/Permanent
* Working Hours: 47.5hrs/week: Mon-Thurs 6.30am -5pm and Fri 7am -3pm
* Salary: £35-40k DOE
An excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised Factory Supervisor to join a long-standing chemical manufacturer in Blaenavon.
Our client is an independent family run business with 40 years’ experience in formulating and producing high quality laundry care products under private label for the UK’s I&I market sector.
We are currently recruiting a Factory Supervisor who has the drive and ambition to progress within our client’s friendly team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled and experienced individual to oversee our manufacturing operations. The Supervisor role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of goods from its filling and labelling lines.
The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a practical, shop floor focused leader, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys rolling up their sleeves. You’ll play a key role in driving performance, leading from the front, and making a visible impact on production, safety, quality and team engagement.
This is not a desk-based position—you’ll be on the shop floor, actively involved in production while leading and supporting your team to deliver daily targets. You’ll act as the vital link between planning and execution, ensuring operations run smoothly.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience as a supervisor or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
* Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control principles, and health and safety regulations
* Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
* Experience of co-ordinating work instructions from a MRP based system
* Desire for long term employment
