Job Title: OAT Analyst Location: Warwick (Hybrid 3 days on-site per week) Contract Type: Contract (6 months, with potential extension) Day Rate: Inside IR35 - Market rate Overview We are seeking an experienced OAT Analyst to support a critical SCADA project within the power utility sector. This role involves ensuring system stability, performance, and readiness through structured Operational Acceptance Testing. Its an exciting opportunity to work on essential infrastructure systems within a collaborative, Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) to validate SCADA system stability, reliability, and operational compliance. Design, develop, and document comprehensive test cases, scenarios, and defects. Validate backup, failover, and disaster recovery scenarios. Work closely with Agile teams, including Product Owners and SCADA SMEs, to define test requirements and user stories. Track and report on test execution using tools like JIRA/XRAY or HP ALM. Identify risks and issues, contributing to their resolution through collaboration and analysis. Ensure alignment with defined test strategies and central test management processes Essential Skills & Experience: Prior experience testing SCADA systems in a power utility environment. Deep understanding of SCADA architecture and communication protocols (e.g., IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus). Strong experience in Operational Acceptance Testing. Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM). Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies. Excellent documentation, communication, and analytical skills.
