Overview
Valley Bridge School is a new special school for pupils aged 6–19, set in a beautiful location in Whaddon, near Gloucester, with an extensive and well-resourced campus. Our creative, individualised approach to learning is centred around well-being and skills for independence. From the time our students arrive, we start thinking about where students will be moving to after they leave us to ensure they are well prepared to achieve their goals and succeed.
We are recruiting for an additional Curriculum Coordinator to join our school community as we continue to grow.
Responsibilities
* Work with the Senior Leadership Team to determine and quality assure the strategic development of all aspects of curriculum delivery, including the development and quality assurance of the initial assessment and baselining of potential students.
* Develop and quality assure individualised programmes of delivery for new students.
* Play a key role in the implementation of the Enterprise Learning curriculum and support our Teachers.
* Provide operational support and oversight throughout the student journey, including the review process, and lead the team around their students.
* Contribute to building meaningful relationships with pupils and families to nurture growth and development of relational milestones such as building trust and shared enjoyment.
* Support the delivery of the school ethos focused on care, connections, and ensuring staff feel cared for as well.
Qualifications
* Experienced teachers who are passionate about an alternative curriculum.
* Ability to lead the team around their students and provide operational oversight throughout the student journey, including the review process.
