Hays Education is proud to be working with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Radstock, seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team for the 2025-2026 academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment as pupils prepare for their transition to secondary education.
Your new role
As the Year 6 Class Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
* Prepare pupils for end-of-year assessments and SATs
* Work closely with teaching assistants, SEN staff, and parents to support pupil progress
* Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities
What you'll need to succeed
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
* Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
