Rural Director - Land Management - South Lincolnshire
The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Rural Surveyor to join a growing Rural Land Management and Consultancy team in Stamford. This role offers the chance to take a pivotal position within an established estate management and rural consultancy practice, with exposure to a broad range of professional rural services and significant scope for career progression.
Key Deliverables
* Act as agent for a portfolio of estate management clients and ensuring delivery against key objectives.
* Undertake estate and farm business reviews.
* Drive innovative diversification, renewable energy and natural capital projects.
* Oversee day‑to‑day management of rural assets, including rent reviews, lease negotiations, dispute resolution, repairs and maintenance programmes, and delivery of strategic estate goals.
* Support clients with the promotion of strategic land.
* Produce secured lending and other professional valuations.
* Ensure adherence to internal processes, client standards and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage key personnel within the team.
* Maintain and grow a strong and prestigious client base across the region.
* Identify opportunities to leverage expertise and generate new business for the wider team.
* Monitor and enhance the profitability of client relationships.
* Mentor and support junior colleagues, contributing to their professional development.

* MRICS‑qualified rural surveyor with experience across a broad range of estate and professional projects.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree (or equivalent).
* MRICS qualified - Rural pathway preferred, with at least 3 years' PQE.
* CAAV membership/qualification is an advantage.
