Overview
Harland Services Ltd are seeking experienced Care Assistants to support a male client in his 20s who lives in Alresford, Hampshire, SO24.
The client is looking to retain his independence, pursue his interests and enjoy life in the community. This includes attending a day centre several times a week and meeting with friends and family.
Please note - there is no sponsorship availability for this role.
Responsibilities
* Working in the client’s home and supporting him in the community with a positive, patient and understanding approach
* Encouraging and enabling the client to achieve his goals and maintain independence
* Support with morning and evening routines, including transport to and from the day centre
* Provide day-to-day assistance as part of a small proactive team

Requirements
* 2:1 support
* Day shifts
* Flexibility to cover holiday/sickness
* Split shifts, 7 hours in total, from 8am-10am (morning routine and transport to the day centre) and 3pm-8pm (transport home from the day centre and evening routine)
* Full time, 3-4 shifts a week
* Driving licence required
* Non-smokers/non-vapers
* Friendly personality
* Client enjoys watching horror films, has an interest in vintage toys and car boot sales, enjoys baking, visiting pubs and going bowling
