Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Reports To: SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) / Classroom Teacher Location: Woking Job Summary: We are looking for a compassionate and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant in Woking to support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). As a SEN TA you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support that enables SEN students to access the curriculum and thrive socially and academically. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one or small group support to SEN students to help them participate in classroom activities. Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management plans. Support communication, social, and emotional development of SEN students. Help adapt learning materials and resources to meet the specific needs of SEN pupils. Monitor and report on progress and challenges, providing feedback to teachers and SENCO.
