An ambitious and creative secondary school in Enfield, North London is seeking an enthusiastic Music specialist to join their team from 23 February 2026 on a full-time, temporary basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to teach Music across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 in a school that genuinely values the arts as a vital part of a well-rounded education. Music plays a visible role in school life, with strong uptake at GCSE and A-level, regular performances, and enthusiastic student participation. The Role
As Music Teacher, you will:
• Deliver engaging and inspiring Music lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5
• Teach a broad curriculum including performance, composition and music theory
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-level Music examinations
• Encourage participation in extracurricular music activities, ensembles and performances
• Assess progress effectively and support students of all abilities
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching Music at secondary level
• Is confident delivering practical and theoretical elements of the curriculum
• Brings energy, creativity and strong classroom management skills
• Enjoys working collaboratively within a dedicated and supportive team
