Job Title: Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer
Location: Clitheroe
Contract Type: 6-month contract (high likelihood of extension)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in E&I design and engineering, with proven ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results. This role involves creating and reviewing electrical and instrumentation designs using AutoCAD and supporting project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and review electrical and instrumentation designs and drawings using AutoCAD.
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards and project specifications.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while being capable of working independently.
* Support site activities as required during the hybrid working schedule.
* Utilize Trimble Pro Design (preferred) for electrical design and calculations.
* Provide technical input and resolve design-related issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Strong Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) engineering background.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD for design work (mandatory).
* Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with Trimble Pro Design software.
* Previous exposure to industrial or process plant environments.
