The Welder Role requires team players with experience, skills and knowledge in fabrication and MIG welding. The role requires operating to high quality/workmanship standards within a world class manufacturing team and facility.
Responsibilities and Duties
Fabrication & Welding of mild steel platform chassis components to specified Company standards, and to operate automated plasma/seam welder
Experience:
* Experience of fabrication and welding
* Experience of using jigs and assembly fixtures to manufacture high quality repetitive components.
* Fully conversant with the MIG welding process
* TIG welding experience is desirable but not essential
Working Hours & Salary:
Day shift hours will be 07.30 - 16.30 Monday - Thursday & Friday 07:30 - 13.30 (with regular structured overtime).
or Rotating day shift hours will be 06:00am - 2:00pm / 2:00pm - 10:00pm Monday - Thursday & 06:00am - 11:30am / 11:30am - 5:00pm Friday (Shift bonus of x 1.15 for both shifts)
Guaranteed basic starting salary £15.51 x 40/37.5 hours per week plus guaranteed minimum £45 per week bonus - £34,600.00 Overtime paid at premium rates outlined below:
Level A - Overtime paid at premium rate of £23.27 per hour (i.e. x 1.5).
Level B - Overtime paid at premium rate of £31.02 per hour (i.e. x 2.0).
Plus additional monthly bonus aligned to business performance that equates to total bonus payments of £280 - £350 per month on average (for reference only).
