Position Profile: The Medical Education Registrar (MER) will work closely with the Director of Postgraduate Medical Education (DPME) and Directors of Clinical Training (DCT) with Medical Education Officer to provide assistance with the postgraduate medical education activities including pre‑vocational surgical skills, Pre‑SET preparation, hospital orientation, mandatory training, a hospital‑wide education program, education programmes for international medical graduates and simulation sessions. The Education Registrar is expected to provide supervision, support and mentoring for junior doctors.
Hospital Profile: In 2026 Medical Education at Joondalup Health Campus will be seeking a Medical Education Registrar to join their team. A proportion of the position will include a 50% clinical workload and 50% education role such as in a Medical or Specialty Registrar. * JHC are looking to employ a Registrar on a part‑time to full‑time basis working 0.5 FTE as Medical Education Registrar, including some clinical work as a Registrar in their chosen speciality to a total of 1 FTE.
* Base salary range before allowances $115,028 - $157,053 (dependent on years of service).
