Night Manager - Job Description

I will support the Front Office Manager and assume responsibility for the efficient operation of the night shift in the Front Office department, including:
* Greeting guests on arrival and conducting check-in and registration procedures efficiently and courteously.
* Ensuring guest satisfaction, collecting keys, and handling billing procedures correctly.
* Following operational procedures, including night audits, cash handling, and system updates.
* Maintaining a balanced bank, making changes, exchanging foreign currency, and reconciling transactions at shift end.
* Preparing arrival amenities such as welcome letters, towels, and drinks.
* Updating guest history files and ensuring guest requests and preferences are accommodated.
* Gathering information on dietary requests and allergies.
* Coordinating with Housekeeping to ensure rooms are serviced according to guest preferences and rooms are cleaned on schedule.
* Collaborating with Engineering for prompt response to maintenance issues.
* Having knowledge of all hotel facilities, services, room rates, categories, locations, and layout, as well as hotel credit policies and reservation coding.
* Adhering strictly to LQA standards.
To excel as Night Manager, I must possess the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role within luxury hotels, including:
* A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hotel, or Business Management.
* Over five years of experience in a similar hotel operational role.
* Technical proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with hotel systems such as POS, PMS, and CRM platforms.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are preferred.
