What you’ll be doing
* Supporting the Head Chef in leading kitchen operations for major conferences, banquets and events
* Delivering high-volume, high-quality food production with consistency and attention to detail
* Leading, motivating and developing a team of chefs within a fast-paced events kitchen
* Working closely with the events and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery
* Planning and executing menus designed for large-scale production without compromising quality
* Managing stock, ordering and kitchen controls while maintaining excellent food margins
* Ensuring full compliance with food safety, HACCP and health & safety standards
* Driving efficiency and minimising waste in a sustainability-focused environment
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen or banqueting/events environment
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
* Solid understanding of menu planning, food costing and large-scale production
* In-depth knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
* A calm, organised approach under pressure with excellent attention to detail
* Passion for delivering high-quality food in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
