We are seeking experienced Paramedics to join our large clinical team as Paramedic Practitioners. Our team includes 11 GPs, Paramedic Practitioners, Specialist Nurses, Practice Nurses, and both clinical and administrative support staff.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking experienced Paramedics to join our acute care team to provide acute care both in the practice and community for our patients residing in local care homes and those who are housebound.
The role will focus on two main areas: seeing acute patients for "on the day" appointments supported by a duty GP, and visiting patients in their own homes or care homes for assessment and treatment.
Experience of chronic disease management is desirable but not essential, given our large elderly population.
