Night Positive Behaviour Support Worker (25550)
This role is open to female applicants only, as being female is a genuine occupational qualification under Section 29, Schedule 3 7 (27-7) of the Equality Act 2010.
Location: Taverham, Norfolk
Type: Permanent, part-time (35 hours/week)
Pay: £13.21/hour (£25,838/year) plus benefits including Health Cash Plan

Join us as a Positive Behaviour Support Worker to provide person-centred support to our customer, V, who has complex needs including a moderate learning disability. V enjoys outdoor activities, trips to National Trust sites, singing, and dancing.
Typical day as our Support Worker
1. Help V overcome barriers and support her to lead a fulfilling life.
2. Recognize her strengths and support her to take small steps towards her goals.
3. Use Positive Behavioural Support to promote independence and social inclusion.
4. Monitor her mental and physical health, and manage risks positively.

You have
1. Experience in a complex care setting or willingness to work towards a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care.
2. Experience supporting people with complex needs or distress behaviors.
3. A patient, calm approach adaptable to V’s needs and circumstances.
4. Experience in positive risk management ensuring safety and wellbeing.
5. Driving license preferred but not essential.

2. Participate in rota and occasional sleep-ins with pay enhancements.

6. Driving license is a plus, but not mandatory for night shifts.
