We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Associate (1–3 years PQE) to join the team supporting the Infected Blood Inquiry – one of the largest and most high-profile public inquiries in the UK.

Job Title: Associate / Solicitor - Infected Blood Inquiry (1–3 years PQE)
Location: Manchester (Hybrid working available)
Practice Area: Group Litigation / Public Inquiries
PQE: 1–3 years
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting senior lawyers in preparing witness statements, evidence, and submissions for the inquiry.
* Managing your own caseload under supervision, ensuring deadlines and procedural requirements are met.
* Liaising with clients, experts, counsel, and other stakeholders to progress cases effectively.
* Conducting detailed legal research and analysis on issues relevant to the inquiry.
* Drafting correspondence, pleadings, and case documentation with precision.
* Supporting hearings and related proceedings as required.
* Contributing to the wider team effort on strategy and case development.
About You
* Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 1–3 years PQE (ideally in litigation, public law, or group claims).
* Strong client care skills and ability to deal with vulnerable clients sensitively.
* Excellent drafting, analytical, and organisational abilities.
* A commitment to claimant-focused work and social justice.
* Prior experience in inquiries, civil litigation, or group claims is advantageous but not essential.
