Electrician – North Wales
Location: D1A Llys Y Dderwen, Parc Menai, Bangor, LL57 4BL
Pay: £16.35/hour PAYE or £21.19/hour CIS
We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team and support a variety of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works across North Wales. This role will mainly focus on rail environments (back-of-house areas) and group district estate sites.

Key Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals to determine electrical layouts.
* Conduct inspections and testing of systems to identify and resolve potential issues early.
* Troubleshoot faults and implement timely, effective solutions.
* Collaborate with other trades and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Maintain accurate records of work, materials, and time spent on each task.
* Mentor apprentices or junior staff when needed.
* Stay current with industry standards, best practices, and safety requirements.
* Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues, ensuring all needs are met.
Requirements:
* Valid electrician license or certification (18th Edition IEE Regs essential).
* Completion of an apprenticeship program or technical school training.
* Minimum 5 years' experience (rail sector work beneficial).
* Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
* Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
* Skilled with hand/power tools and able to work in varied environments.
* Good communication skills and problem-solving ability.
* Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications: PASMA User 3T & AGR, IPAF certifications, other relevant electrical engineering qualifications.
Role Details:
* Work primarily across North Wales with planned routes for efficiency.
* Occasional travel to other areas in emergencies or to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
