Field Service Engineer - Medical Critical Care Equipment (North West England)
A leading healthcare technology organisation is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support and maintain critical care medical equipment, with the opportunity to cross‑train into medical imaging (X‑ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound).
This is a self‑managing, field‑based role offering flexibility, development, and a genuinely employee‑centric culture.
The Role
Field service support across the North West
Installations
Preventive maintenance and compliance checks
Technical diagnostics and repairs on critical care equipment
Customer support and user training
Accurate service documentation
Structured cross‑training into medical imaging
Experience We're Looking For
We welcome engineers with any medical engineering experience from:
NHS EBME / Clinical Engineering backgrounds
Armed Forces medical engineering (MDSS REME Med & Dent Engineers)
Engineers from Private healthcare or medical device service providers
Beneficial experience includes but is NOT essential:
Anaesthesia or ventilator equipment
Applicants must have:
A full UK driving licence
Full Right to Work in the UK
