As we scale, we are looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to take over a warm desk. This is a strategic hire: you will inherit established client relationships and an active candidate pool within our core sectors, allowing you to focus on high-level delivery and sophisticated account growth.
The Role: Senior Temporary/Contract Specialist
We aren't looking for someone to "learn the ropes." We’re looking for a seasoned 360 recruiter who knows how to navigate the fast-paced contract market. You will take ownership of a desk with an existing run-rate, using your expertise to maximise current accounts while strategically identifying new opportunities.

Your Key Responsibilities:
* Account Optimisation: Manage and expand a "warm" portfolio of clients within Civil Engineering, Town Planning, and Building Control.
* Full 360 Execution: Lead the end-to-end recruitment cycle, from high-level brief taking to contractor care and compliance.
* Market Mapping: Proactively identify and headhunt passive talent for specialized contract requirements.
* Strategic Business Development: Move beyond "spec calls" use a consultative approach to win new tenders and preferred supplier status.
* Mentorship: Act as a lead figure in the office, providing guidance and best-practice examples to Trainee and Junior Consultants.
* Contract Management: Oversee your contract book with precision, ensuring high retention and seamless renewals.
What You Bring:
* Proven Track Record: At least 2+ years of 360 recruitment experience, ideally within the Built Environment, Technical, or Public Sector contract markets.
* Billing Excellence: A documented history of achieving and exceeding targets in a fast-paced environment.
* Strategic Mindset: You know how to "work" a warm desk to its full potential while still having the "hunter" instinct for new business.
* Professionalism: High levels of integrity and the ability to act as a brand ambassador for Sarto Thomas.
