Founded in 2015, Independent Fire Inspections Ltd conduct passive fire protection inspections across the UK. An opportunity has arisen for a bright enthusiastic candidate to join our team as a Trainee Fire Door Inspector. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to be fundamental in delivering the scheme, while being supported with training, qualifications and on the job experience alongside our experienced team of inspectors.
The role:
As a Trainee Fire Door Inspector you will be accountable for:
* Completing a well-established training programme over one year whilst being overseen by a Senior Inspector.
* Travelling to sites to assist with the routine inspection of communal and flat entrance doors.
* Communicating with Independent Fire Inspections Ltd Head Office, the Client and residents to confirm inspection appointments and report outcomes.
* Supporting the team of Inspectors in completing maintenance inspections in line with their schedules.
* Delivering a high level of service to our customers
The successful candidate must be:
* Motivated and enthusiastic
* Friendly and approachable
* Preferably have experience in the fire sector, but not essential
* Confident using Microsoft word, excel and outlook
PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST HOLD A VALID UK DRIVING LICENCE, A CSCS CARD AND PASS AN ENHANCED DBS CHECK.
