Main duties of the job
As a senior member of the multidisciplinaryteam, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective delivery ofthe Physiotherapy service while supporting the Specialty Team Lead inmaintaining the highest standards of patient care. You will manage your owncaseload independently, ensuring the safe and seamless transfer of care fordefined patient groups, while also contributing to service improvementinitiatives. In addition, you will supervise and mentor rotationalphysiotherapists, lead the clinical education of student physiotherapists, andassist with department-wide training. Strong communication skills areessential, as you will liaise closely with patients, carers, and colleaguesacross the multidisciplinary team, acting as an advocate to safeguard patientwellbeing and promote a positive care experience.

Job responsibilities
* To undertake comprehensive assessments andformulating diagnoses for patients with complex or multiple conditions.
* To analyse findingsto set realistic treatment goals and timescales in collaboration with patientsand the multidisciplinary team.
* To ensure patientunderstanding, consent, and engagement through clear communication,negotiation, and motivation.
* To select anddelivering appropriate treatment techniques such as therapeutic handling,electrotherapy, respiratory care, and exercise-based interventions.
* To monitor,evaluating, and adjusting treatment programmes to ensure progress and timely,safe discharge planning.
* To identifyinappropriate referrals and directing patients to the most suitable serviceswhen physiotherapy is not appropriate.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy
* HCPC Registration
* Experience in SystmOne
* Trained in Moving handling & BLS
* Experience in Acute Inpatients
