Overview
Operations Manager for the Apex Temple Court Hotel in London. This full‑time, permanent role includes a 40‑hour week with a 5 on 2 off shift pattern. The position is responsible for overseeing the delivery of Apex Brand Values, guest experience, brand standards, cost controls, and hotel profitability.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure full visibility during key operational periods to enhance customer experience.
* Maintain team focus on the customer and drive individualized service.
* Own the in‑stay and post‑stay customer service lifecycle, review improvements and address feedback.
* Maintain the highest cleanliness standards across all hotel areas.
* Collaborate with HODs and Sales to grow business and identify new opportunities.
* Work with HODs to upskill and multi‑skill teams according to business needs.
* Analyse daily/weekly payroll costs, manage staffing deployments and correct overspend.
* Handle effective holiday, sickness, and absence management.
* Deliver and initiate regular team recognition and wellness initiatives.
* Develop community/social calendar for cluster teams.
* Ensure F&B strategies, menu implementation, and promotions are delivered on time; support revenue targets.
* Promote a “Sales Team mentality” across all departments.
* Implement cost‑saving strategies.
* Ensure smooth operations across all departments.
* Adhere to legislative standards including Health & Safety, Fire & Food Safety, IT & Accounting Compliance, HR procedures.
* Collaborate with Risk and Compliance division to deliver required training within timeframes.
* Implement the sustainability agenda and coordinate initiatives across the cluster.

Qualifications & Experience
Experience required: operations management in a hotel or comparable environment.
Full‑time employment. Salary £65,000 – £66,788 yearly.
