Each JoJo store is unique, whether it’s trading over two floors, having a quirky layout, or being situated in an interesting location. They have their own character. Our Unique Selling Point (USP) in this dynamic retail environment is the strong relationships we build with our customers, many of whom are loyal to our brand and local store team. You’ll be the face of JoJo, providing excellent customer care and service that we are known for and proud of. You’ll guide, inform, and assist customers in selecting from our wide range of clothing and products, including expectant parents, grandparents, and other family members.
Our commitment to B Corp principles is fundamental, and all team members are expected to uphold them. As we transition into a digital retail space, delivering Omni-Channel customer service is essential to fostering customer loyalty.
A peek into your daily adventures:
1. Assisting customers in diverse situations, from bra fitting or discussing maternity wear to demonstrating baby carriers for interested parents.
2. Preparing and managing Omni-Channel orders.
3. Communicating with customers in store or via phone regarding orders.
4. Utilizing digital or virtual learning platforms to develop your retail knowledge and skills continually.
5. Learning about new products to increase sales opportunities.
6. Listening actively to customer needs to find the best solutions.
7. Maintaining a clean and inviting store environment.
A typical week involves 2 shifts of 5.5 hours, with flexibility required based on store needs.
Skills that make you shine:
* Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales.
* Proficient IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
* Ability to acquire and communicate detailed product knowledge effectively.
* Self-motivated with a curiosity to learn independently.
* Strong active listening, empathy, and understanding of customer needs, with a gentle sales approach.
* Ability to work harmoniously within a small team.
* Flexibility to work in a retail environment open 7 days a week.
* Attention to detail and pride in store presentation.
