Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our team as Senior Travel Consultant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, excellent sales skills, and a strong background in the travel industry.
For over a decade Silver Travel Advisor has been dedicated to supporting travellers with reviews, information, and advice to inspire travel. Now as part of our ambitious expansion plans and following on from the success of our homeworking division, we will launch our second travel agency branch situated in the affluent market town of Southwell, Nottinghamshire.
Duties
Working within the small dynamic team at Silver Travel Advisor, this role will report into the Managing Director. As our Senior Travel Consultant, and brand guardian you'll strive for success and be well networked within the local community and surrounding area. From launching and building the branch, you'll be developing a new customer base in order to achieve overall branch profitability. As well as leading by example and displaying world-class customer service.
You will understand the importance of building a retention strategy including seeking customer feedback scores through Trustpilot, as well as managing in-store marketing, and planning and hosting in-store events to engage with the local community.
Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, including overseeing staff, sales, admin and customer service
* Sales driven you will lead the branch profitability by maximising sales and conversion
* Develop and implement sales strategies including social media and local partnership opportunities to meet and exceed profit goals
* Train and mentor staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about travel products and services, including apprentices
* Monitor and analyse sales reports to identify trends and opportunities for growth
* Assist with the maintenance of supplier relationships and generating special promotions
* Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes to ensure the branch is offering the most competitive products and services
* Collaborate with senior leadership to develop company-wide initiatives and goals
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
