Manufacturing Engineer Location: Oxford, UK £45-55k Good Benefits Full time, onsite About the Role Were looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to help turn manufacturing builds into production-ready components. Youll design, optimise, and validate post-processing methods that deliver high-quality results across industries such as aerospace, automotive, and energy. This is a cross-functional role where youll work with materials scientists, design engineers, and production teams to scale processes efficiently and meet customer standards. What Youll Do Develop and implement post-processing workflows (support removal, surface finishing, heat treatment, coatings). Run experiments (DOE) to optimise processes and improve quality, cost, and cycle times. Document methods clearly to ensure repeatability and compliance. Collaborate with NPI, QA, and design teams to transition prototypes into full-scale production. Analyse data, propose improvements, and support customer audits with validation evidence. What Were Looking For Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering (or similar). At least 1 years experience in manufacturing or process engineering. Skills in CAD (SolidWorks/NX), GD&T, and statistical analysis tools. Familiarity with AM technologies and materials science basics. Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management abilities. Bonus points for: experience with automation/robotics, aerospace/automotive manufacturing, Lean/Six Sigma, or ERP/MES systems.
