We're working with a respected and long-standing firm, to recruit a paralegal for their busy conveyancing department. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, with access to excellent support and long-term development potential.
Position Overview
You'll play a key role in supporting the residential conveyancing team, working on a variety of sales and purchase transactions across freehold and leasehold properties. This role offers meaningful exposure to the full lifecycle of a property transaction, giving you the chance to grow your skills and take on increasing responsibility.
Responsibilities
1. Assist with handling residential sale and purchase files
2. Draft and review documents and correspondence
3. Carry out searches and assist with preparing contracts and completion packs
4. Maintain regular communication with clients, agents and third parties
5. Ensure case progression in a timely and compliant manner
6. Support the wider team with general administrative and legal tasks as needed
Requirements
7. Minimum of 12 months' experience in residential conveyancing (as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant)
8. Familiarity with handling or assisting with a conveyancing caseload
9. Excellent communication and organisational skills
10. A proactive approach and the ability to work well in a team
11. Keen interest in further developing a career in property law
