Community Physiotherapy Technical Instructor
The Band 4 Physio TI within the Flintshire Community Team supports the delivery of rehabilitation programmes to patients in their own homes or community settings. Working under guidance of qualified Physiotherapists, this role plays a key part in promoting independence, functional recovery, and safe discharge from services.
The role involves implementing treatment plans, supervising exercise programmes, assisting with mobility and functional tasks, and monitoring patient progress. It includes working with a varied caseload, often involving older adults, individuals recovering from illness or surgery, and those with long‑term conditions.
Strong communication and organisational skills, alongside the ability to work independently, are essential, as the role often requires lone working and close collaboration within the wider multidisciplinary team. This post contributes to delivering patient‑centred care, supporting people to remain safely at home and reducing hospital admissions.
