The Opportunity
We’re supporting a leading, innovation-driven organisation operating across complex, high-value projects to recruit a Senior Commercial Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping commercial strategy, leading contract negotiations, and supporting major bids within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
This position offers exposure to large-scale, technically complex programmes and the chance to work with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
The Role
As Senior Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of commercial and contractual activities across a portfolio of projects. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust commercial governance, manage risk, and drive successful business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Leading commercial input into bids and proposals for large, complex opportunities
* Negotiating contracts and contract amendments with customers, partners, and suppliers
* Developing and implementing negotiation strategies aligned with business objectives
* Identifying, managing, and mitigating commercial risks and liabilities
* Supporting project teams with commercial guidance throughout the lifecycle
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
* Ensuring compliance with internal policies and contractual frameworks
* Mentoring and supporting junior team members where required
About You
You’ll be a commercially astute professional with a strong background in contract management and negotiation within complex environments.

* Has proven experience in commercial or contract management roles
* Demonstrates strong negotiation and influencing skills
* Possesses excellent commercial and financial acumen
* Can confidently manage risk and translate strategy into practical solutions
* Is comfortable working on high-value, complex bids and contracts
* Has experience working with multiple stakeholders across business functions
* Brings resilience and the ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure situations
Desirable
* Professional qualifications (e.g. WorldCC, CIPS, contract management certifications)
* Experience within regulated or project-based industries
