We’re looking for a confident, organised and people-focused Sous Chef to join our team at Boston Tea Party Exeter, a busy, vibrant café known for quality, fresh food and a strong, supportive kitchen culture.

What you’ll do
As Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef to keep the kitchen running smoothly every day.
You’ll:
* Lead the kitchen confidently on shift and set the standard for service
* Cook fresh, high-quality food to spec and ensure strong presentation every time
* Support with prep planning, stock control and maintaining kitchen readiness
* Train, coach and motivate the kitchen team to build skills and confidence
* Maintain safe, clean and compliant kitchen practices, including allergen and food safety
* Bring calm leadership, clear communication and strong organisation to busy moments
