Responsibilities
This role includes engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, offer advice, and perform housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment. You will help deliver a variety of public health services while gaining a pharmacy qualification.
* Gain experience in retail.
* Learn about over-the-counter medicines.
* Assist in dispensing prescription medicines.
* Order pharmaceutical stock.
* Advise customers on over-the-counter medication.
* Assist with minor ailments.
Qualifications
GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
Training and Development
Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.
