Are you an experienced Project Engineering specialist ready to step into a complex and fast-paced environment? Are you able to lead as a project manager, driving capital engineering projects & improvements, typically valued between £50k-£2M, and supporting central teams with larger projects? If so, our Taw Valley Creamery has an exciting opportunity for you.

This role is particularly significant as the creamery is undergoing a major transformation, supported by a £180 million investment.

How you will make an impact

* Deliver structured capital projects, with experience in mechanical, electrical, and automated systems essential.
* Collaborate with site and external teams to provide solutions meeting stakeholder expectations and project scopes.
* Support the engineering team on complex issues and troubleshooting.
* Chair Capex meetings, ensuring structured communication and stakeholder engagement, following Arla project management processes.
* Manage the annual Capex cycle and present proposals to stakeholders.
* Ensure adherence to Arla Foods' technical specifications (automation, electrical, mechanical, safety, hygienic design, operability, maintainability).

Grow with Arla

* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automated manufacturing systems, with an understanding of Lean principles and SAP/OEE.
* Preferably hold an Engineering Degree or equivalent, along with Prince 2, APM, Agile, or similar project management certifications.
* Experience in commercial processes, sourcing, tendering, and negotiations.

About Arla Taw Valley Creamery

* Established in 1974, our Taw Valley Creamery is a key cheese production site in the UK, with ongoing developments to enhance capacity and capabilities.
* We process approximately 1.2 million liters of milk daily, producing over 100 tons of award-winning cheeses like BOB and Castello Tickler, as well as butter and whey powder.
* The site is set to receive around £180 million investment to build a new mozzarella production facility, the second-largest single investment in Arla Foods UK.
