We now seek a Deputy Manager who is passionate about, and thrives on, making a real and positive difference in the lives of older people.
Working in collaboration with the Home Manager and the wider multidisciplinary teams, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient running of the home. This diverse role involves challenging moments, but the reward comes from the gratitude of our residents, which is the true incentive behind this role.
The duties of our Deputy Managers include overseeing excellent nursing and residential care, maintaining open communication, supporting and managing budgets, and being personally accountable for Human Resources. You will act in the best interests of all involved, promote engaging marketing initiatives, and guide colleagues in training and development, including your own professional growth.
You will provide attentive care to all areas of the home, from personal laundry to managing complex emergencies, demonstrating confidence and flexibility. Your knowledge and leadership will ensure high standards are maintained.

What We Require From You
* Minimum Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care
* Experience working within the healthcare sector
* Management or leadership experience (essential) and qualification (desirable)
* Hold an NMC (Nursing and Midwifery) certificate with an active PIN
* A caring nature with a personal approach
* Flexibility and adaptability to change at short notice
* Ability to work under pressure without negative impact
* Warm, approachable, and engaging personality
* Respect for everyone, treating others as you wish to be treated
* Resilience and adaptability to the needs of colleagues and residents
