Established and respected in our field for 25 years, McKee's Country Store and Restaurant, successfully operate a thriving Farm Shop which has become a popular destination and often described as a 'food emporium'. Our passion and drive throughout is producing our farm produce offering family meals, boasting an extensive delicatessen and a 140-seater Restaurant. McKee's Country Store and Restaurant is a family run business maintaining 80+ staff members. We Farm – Beef Cattle, Lamb, Poultry and Egg. Food traceability being key to winning our customer fan base.
Our farm shop is seeking for a hardworking and skilled individual to become a member of our baking team. We work in a fast-paced environment, so our bakers will spend most of their time on the go and should be able to work well both independently and in teams.
Responsibilities:
* Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
· Physical strength for lifting mixer bowls and ingredients
* Must be experienced in all aspects (list is not exhaustive):
° Hot plate
° Scones
° Cakes
° Traybakes
° Fresh Cream
· Keep store adequately stocked & order supplies when required
· General housekeeping
· Working to existing recipes
· Monitoring the standard of ingredients
· Preparing & using the ovens and equipment
· Measuring, weighing & using mixers for wet and dry ingredients
· Kneading and shaping the dough

Hours
Flexibility available, but usual hours of work:
Day time hours - example shift Mon-Thursday 4am-1pm
Friday 4am-11am
5 days per week. No evenings
No Saturday or Sunday working
