The site is easily commutable from Doncaster, Pontefract and Goole.
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday (1530 - 1430, 1430 - 2330)
About the Role:
Based at a large, fast-paced food manufacturing business you will be part of a multiskilled engineering team responsible for all planned and reactive maintenance across the site.
Reporting to the Maintenance & Reliability Manager, your key responsibilities include:
Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and disruptions to production.
Ensuring all planned maintenance is carried out to a high standard.
Proactively looking for long-term engineering solutions to recurring issues, with a strong focus on continuous improvement,
Getting involved in upgrade and installation projects.
About You:
You'll need to be apprentice trained (or have equivalent experience) and hold NVQ Level 3 or above in mechanical or electrical engineering.

Experience of working in an engineering maintenance role.
A proactive, inquisitive approach to engineering along with a methodical approach to resolving problems.
Keen to learn and develop new skills.
A team player, willing to share your knowledge and experience with the rest of the team.
PLC fault-finding skills (for electrically biased engineers).
Experience of using Pirana or similar CMMS.
